Zachary Taylor Shafer (born July 13, 1866 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; died October 27, 1945 in Glendale, California) was a Major League Baseball player in the 19th century. He played parts of two seasons. In 1884, he played for three teams in the Union Association mainly as an outfielder, and in 1890 he played for the Philadelphia Athletics of the American Association mainly as a second baseman.
Shafer was the brother of baseball player Orator Shafer.
